This is a quite massive, almost overpowering take on Grenache from a biodynamic vineyard just south of the Santa Lucia Highlands, showing concentrated boysenberry and blackberry on the dark nose alongside loamy soil minerality. It's lavish and rich on the sip, with blackberry paste and tar flavors hanging from sticky tannins. This bottling still needs some time.
