Light, tight and bright on the nose, this bottling, whose name implies that the malolactic fermentation was stopped halfway through, offers apple cream and melon flesh on the delicate but intriguing nose. There's a streak of crushed stone throughout the palate, where lemon zest, lychee and white melon also show. Matt Kettmann
