The family-owned Yalumba winery has made something of a speciality of its Australian Viognier, including one of the top wines in its range, the Virgilius. This wine, more modestly priced, has ripe peachy fruit, almost tropical, with a finely judged toasty element, leaving a fresh, creamy green taste in the mouth.
