This is currently quite reductive to start, dominated by Band Aid and onion characters. Lemon balm and white spice notes stand at the back. As it gets air in glass, more peach and melon aromas float to the fore. The palate is chalky textured with shrill acidity. It's a bit lean and green at first, but does offer more peach and citrus fruit as it opens. Another year or so in bottle may give this time to gel. Christina Pickard
