This is a single block designate from Pommard vines planted in 1983. It's soft on entry, with light raspberry fruit and a lot of herbal highlights. The tannins are stiff and leave a slightly bitter aftertaste. The wine spent 15 months in 14% new French oak. Paul Gregutt
