Yamhill Valley 2018 Estate Pinot Blanc (McMinnville)

This is nicely differentiated from both Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, grapes it may often closely resemble. Here it occupies the middle ground, picking up the apple, pear and melon fruit of the former, and some of the buttery barrel toast of the latter. Overall it's fresh, balanced and moderately long.
