Yamhill Valley 2019 Chardonnay (McMinnville)

This was barrel fermented and has a pleasantly toasty aspect. The fruit is lightly ripened and tastes of green apples. There's a buttery flavor underlying the fruit, which suggests full malolactic fermentation took place. It's a clean, rather simple but stylish bottle that's ready for drinking. Paul Gregutt
