Yangarra Park 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (South Eastern Australia)

No question it's Cabernet, with blackcurrant and cassis aromas and the detailed vanillins and smoky spice from oak that nearly always accompanies the varietal. Its weakness is in the mouth, where sharp acids accompany good berry flavors and green, herbal notes.
