Yates Family Vineyard 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mount Veeder)

Tastes immature now, an awkward combination of ripe, intense mountain fruit, oak, tannins and acidity, none of which has come together yet. It's a bold, masculine wine, rich in blackberries, cherries and minerals, but it wants a good 5–6 years to meld.
