Yates Family Vineyard 2007 Cheval Cabernet Franc (Mount Veeder)

Not as rich or satisfying as the '06, probably a victim of the cool vintage. The wine makes an effort at lean elegance, and largely succeeds, except for a stubborn sharpness throughout. Despite that you'll find pleasant, oak-inspired black cherry and currant flavors. Drink now.
