Yatir 2010 Petit Verdot (Judean Hills)

Aromas of blackberry, jalapeño and oregano lead to flavors of black cherry, licorice and eucalyptus with a touch of orange blossom. Some may find it a little tannin-heavy for their taste, but a bright note that transcends through the lingering finish overcomes any heaviness on the palate. Mike DeSimone
