Yering Station 2004 M.V.R. White (Yarra Valley)

Almost two-thirds Marsanne, wtih Viognier and Roussanne making up the balance. It is an intellectually interesting wine, a study of a Rhône composition, and I value it for that. But is just not a giving wine, or one that I could imagine going well with dinner. Notes of tree root, nut and peach pit dominate, and the feel is a little viscous. Imported by Epic Wines.
