Bright lemon and stone fruit open alongside some reductive flinty aromas. There's a lactic richness and a dried herbal nuance. The palate is as full-figured as the nose suggests, richly textured with buttery oak and ripe peach. Tingly acidity adds needed freshness. On the forgettable side, it has a short finish, but is nevertheless a harmonious bottling. Christina Pickard
