This is a rich, lactic Chardonnay that opens with gentle notes of lemon curd, melon and butter. The palate is equally buttery, in both texture and flavor. There's ripe fruit and toasty oak, too. Overall, it sits a bit flat and finishes on the short side, but it's young, and despite several years in bottle already, it could still blossom with time. Drink until 2030. Christina Pickard
