Yeringberg 2018 Pinot Noir (Yarra Valley)

There's a simplicity about the winemaking for this Pinot, from one of Australia's most treasured historic estates, that's refreshing in the sometimes high tech world of Aussie wine. Vibrant berry and floral notes are backed by a touch of savory spice. There's also some fairly prominent oak. A refreshing lick of acidity and brightness of fruit on the palate are met with somewhat drying, oak-derived tannins. Overall, this is lovely drop. Christina Pickard
