Yorkville says this might possibly be the only wine produced in California with all six of Bordeaux's noble red varieties—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenère, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. And the producer is one of the few to have such a large planting of Carmenère, grown organically from its Rennie Vineyard. The wine mixes flavors of cherry and caramel toffee.
