Yves Cuilleron 1999 Terres Sombres (Côte Rôtie)

A bright, modern, deep purple color immediately shows the approach with this wine. The brightness continues to the aromas of red berry fruits and new wood. To taste, it is dominated by sweet new-wood flavors, but has also some deep blackcurrant fruit and big, firm, perfumed tannins. Give it five years and it will be delicious. Roger Voss
