Zaca Mesa 2000 Z Cuvee Red (Santa Barbara County)

Could double as a good Châteauneuf. It's pleasantly fruity, with sweet blackberry and black raspberry flavors and a peppery undercurrent. It's also nicely dry, with fine tannins that support the structure but don't overwhelm. Not very deep or complex, but lovely. A blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Counoise, Syrah and Cinsault.
