Zanoli 2016 Chenin Blanc (Santa Ynez Valley)

Fresh lime peel and kumquat aromas meet with lemongrass and a slightly yeasty touch on this bottling. Flavors are very tight and crisp, with citrus peel and wet riverstone. It's not an overly complex wine, but its freshness is compelling and lasts long once opened. Matt Kettmann
