This Reserve holdover from '05 is '0 well-oaked, so there are clear-cut coffee and mocha aromas to go with adequate fruit scents. But the forceful oak leaves a lemony, hammering flavor on top of simple cherry fruit. With some oil and shoe polish on the finish, this wine doesn't impress.
