Zotovich 2017 Viognier (Sta. Rita Hills)

Peach and ripe apples meet with a strong kick of honeysuckle on the nose of this bottling, one of the few Viogniers from the appellation. There is decent tension to the palate, where more white flowers and pome-fruit flavors approach tropicality but are wrapped in a compelling texture. Matt Kettmann
