Zuccardi 2001 Q Tempranillo (Mendoza)

Tastes like an Argentine version of Rioja, which it probably should. The nose is spicy, oaky and a bit pickled. Flavors of wood grain, plum and leather lead into a dry, spiced-up finish that carries a chili pepper flavor. A bit overoaked. Michael Schachner
