Polishing a hidden gem

Once a public relations pro for video games, Parr’s hunt for a richer life led to culinary school in Florence, where she fell for wine. She returned to New York City and sold Italian wines, managed wine shops and launched an events business called Champagne & Hot Dogs. Parr then moved to the West Coast, and she eventually landed in Temecula. “I have a passion for hidden-gem wine regions,” says Parr. “I wanted to get on the ground floor here and help Temecula Valley achieve its full potential.”
