Suderman is the quintessential local boy made good story. Raised just outside of the city, he’s a protégée of Chuck Furuyu, a fellow Hawaiian and a master sommelier. Suderman is seriously upgrading the wine program at this historic property along Waikiki Beach, nicknamed the “Pink Palace of the Pacific.” Working closely with the chef, Colin Hazama, Suderman highlights local food and superior wines through the restaurant’s Epicurean Journey dinner series. He also offers an inspired selection of local specialty beers.
