Giving back to wine country
Part of the volunteer team with Chris Strieter and Senses co-founders Max Theriot and Myles Lawrence-Briggs, Boss was integral in managing logistics to launch the Rebuild Wine Country fund. She remains at the center of operations, where she manages the group’s social media, marketing and website, which she developed. She also works with Habitat for Humanity as construction begins, including on the new Sonoma Wildfire Cottage Initiative, launched in June. Born in Idaho, Boss is a former portfolio manager for Alpha Omega and JH Collection, and also managed operations for Favia Wines, all in Napa. At Senses, Boss is responsible for day-to-day business operations and sales efforts to grow the brand.

Rising wine country from the fire
When wildfires ripped through California Wine Country in October 2017, Sonoma County native Strieter mobilized fast. He was a key player in the assembly of a volunteer team and setting up a crowdfunding campaign, with money directed to local Habitat for Humanity organizations throughout the North Bay. Founded by Senses Wines, which Strieter began in 2011 with two childhood friends, Rebuild Wine Country’s charitable efforts aid Napa, Sonoma, Lake, Solano and Mendocino Counties. More than $1 million has been raised toward a $5 million goal.
