Sharing words of wine wisdom
White began to write about wine while she worked as a sommelier at Veritas in New York City, and later at Press in St. Helena, California. She co-founded Houndstooth wine with her sommelier husband Scott Brenner in 2011, and shortly after began work on her first book, Napa Valley, Then & Now (Rudd Press, 2015), which won awards in both writing and design. Now, White writes the majority of GuildSomm’s online features and teaches member classes across the country and abroad. She was also a 2017 finalist for Wine Enthusiast’s Sommelier/Wine Director of the Year.
