After she earned a master’s degree in enology and viticulture from University of California, Davis, Bennett returned to the family business, Navarro Vineyards & Winery, one of the first estate wine producers in the Anderson Valley. In addition to sustainability initiatives, she’s overseen the production of assorted cheeses at Pennyroyal Farm and their integration into the wine program to improve vineyard biodiversity, as well as introduced consumer-friendly offerings, like tasting menus, to the farm’s hospitality offerings. —Inset photo courtesy Navarro Vineyard Winery
