After she earned a master’s degree in enology and viticulture from University of California, Davis, Bennett returned to the family business, Navarro Vineyards & Winery, one of the first estate wine producers in the Anderson Valley. In addition to sustainability initiatives, she’s overseen the production of assorted cheeses at Pennyroyal­ Farm and their integration into the wine program to improve vineyard biodiversity, as well as introduced consumer-friendly offerings, like tasting menus, to the farm’s hospitality offerings. —Inset photo courtesy Navarro Vineyard Winery
