A Non-alcoholic Advocate
Three years ago, Schufelt would stand at the finish lines of races and marathons around the country, often in events he had just competed, and hand out cans of non-alcoholic beer his company made. There were funny looks and questions, he says. Now, as the non-alcoholic space grows, Athletic is leading the charge to deliver authentic flavor minus the booze.
The brewery added a West Coast facility last year and is building a larger brewery in Connecticut to meet demand. Today at the finish line, there are high fives and happy smiles without the skepticism.
