Capone began his editorial career at Blue Magazine, wrote listings and dining reviews for New York Magazine and BlackBook, blogged for NBCNewYork, edited two Zagat guides, contributed to the re-re-launch of Radar Magazine and was executive editor at MediaPost before editing Whalebone Magazine. Along the way he’s worked all or part of a few harvests in Northern California, wrote a wine and spirits column for San Francisco Magazine, and worked as marketing manager for the historic Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma.
