Reared in Austin, Rodil oversees the wine and beverage program for six restaurants as part of the McGuire Moorman Hospitality group. A seventh, June’s, opened this summer. “Yes, I’m pretty embarrassed about the name, but I got outvoted, and now it’s growing on me,” says Rodil. The namesake bar is a kind of place “where you can drink Champagne while wearing shorts and flip-flops,” she says. Rodil also organizes sommeliers for TEXSOM, a conference for wine professionals, and speaks at wine events around the country, including the Russian River Valley Forum.
