Thanks to the efforts of Wine Director and General Manager Elizabeth Rodriguez, this Texas Hill Country hotspot has expanded its all-Texas wine list; it now features more than 140 different wines from 45 of the state’s wineries, which get expertly paired with Owner and Executive Chef Ross Burtwell’s hearty Texas-sourced cuisine.
From The Sommelier: “The Texas wine industry is exploding with growth, with more and more new wineries starting up operations as well as existing wineries vastly expanding their current operations and offerings. This growth is being fueled by an ever-increasing interest by Texas consumers in trying and supporting local foods and beverages. The great part about this is that with Texas winemakers still experimenting with various warm climate varietals, we now have a diversity of single varietal wines to choose from and our patrons are ultra-excited about exploring these different wines.” —Elizabeth Rodriguez, Cabernet Grill Texas Wine Country Restaurant
