After releasing his award-winning book, On Vegetables, just last year, Executive Chef Jeremy Fox’s innovative cuisine has reached a wider audience than ever before. In the restaurant, Wine Director Kathryn Coker continues to champion smaller producers from around the globe, while sommelier and Naples native Ferdinando Mucerino has increased attention around wines from southern Italy.
From the Sommelier: “For the past 10 years, we’ve seen more and more small distributors here in southern California. But the scene has just exploded in the past year! From classic New York importers like T. Elenteny to tiny little books full of natural wines like Scuola di Vino, the variety of available wines is unlike ever before. I’ve always been a fan of smaller producers, but recently that has been taken to a whole new level. It’s so fun to continually load up the list with new wines that have never been in the market here.” —Kathryn Coker, Rustic Canyon
