This is the flagship restaurant at Blackberry Mountain, the new property in the Blackberry Farm family. Its “mountain cuisine” is hearty but elegant, made from local, often foraged ingredients, and the wine list focuses on family producers who farm sustainably.
From The Sommelier: “We continue to be excited about RhĂ´ne Valley varieties, particularly whites based on Viognier and reds based on Grenache. Coming from cooking backgrounds as many of our beverage team does, we find these varieties to be excellent food pairing varieties—especially when other varieties fail…We’ve also seen more and more interest from our guests in knowing the background stories to the wines. For this reason, stories about the producers, their families, and their vineyards are highlighted in our new wine list at Blackberry Mountain so that our guests can get to know the producers in the program and have some fun reading the list.” —Andy Chabot, Three Sisters
