Celebrating its 20th anniversary this fall, Vetri is more exciting than ever, as Chef-Owner Marc Vetri has sold his other restaurants to focus on his flagship. The wine program has uncommon depth, and Wine Director Bobby Domenick is also passionate about Italy’s emerging regions and producers.
From the Sommelier: “I love the trend towards more organic and biodynamic producers, less chemicals in the vineyards and less intervention in the cellar; I’m seeing more and more producers heading in this direction. I also love that restaurants are taking coffee and tea seriously! At Vetri we are obsessed with coffee (espresso). We have 4 vintage Faema espresso machines from the 60’s that are in pristine working condition. Marc has collected them over the year and often can make adjustments as if they were vintage automobiles.” —Bobby Domenick, Vetri Cucina
