Recipe courtesy, Bar Lab. Developed for 5 Napkin Burger, New York City, Boston and Miami

This riff on the classic gimlet is particularly cool and refreshing. Multiple garnishes increase the wow factor of this otherwise straightforward drink, but one or more can be omitted, if preferred.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon celery salt, for rimming
Orange wedge, for rimming
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
2 basil leaves
2 dashes celery bitters
Basil leaf, for garnish
Lime wheel, for garnish

Directions

Pour celery salt on a small plate. Moisten half of the outer rim of a double old-fashioned glass with the orange wedge. Roll the glass in the salt to coat half the glass rim. Set the prepared glass aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the next 5 ingredients with ice. Shake vigorously. Scoop fresh ice into the prepared glass, and strain the drink into the glass. Garnish with basil and lime.
