Miracle of Light

Tart, with a touch of bitters for balance, this drink will be a showstopper when the garnish is set aflame.

  • 1 tablespoon apricot jam
  • 1½ ounces Ilegal Mezcal Joven
  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • 3 dashes Bittermens Boston Bittahs
  • ½ hallowed lime wedge
  • ¾ Green Chartreuse
  • Freshly grated cinnamon, for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, add apricot jam, mezcal, lime juice, bitters. Dry shake the cocktail.  Add ice and shake once more. Strain the cocktail into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Place lime wedge on top, and fill with green chartreuse. Light the green chartreuse with a match and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

Batch rule: Multiply the ingredients for each additional person and simply garnish with lime wedges.
