If you’ve ever enjoyed strawberries and balsamic vinegar in a salad or dessert, you already know how the vinegar’s acidity can really make the sweetness of ripe strawberries sing. The classic combination plays well in a cocktail format, too.

About the Vodka

New Amsterdam Vodka is made by California’s E. & J. Gallo, but the brand is a nod to the old name for New York, complete with an architectural-shaped, Empire State Building-adorned bottle. Relatively robust, it stands up well to bold flavors, like the strawberry, maple and balsamic vinegar in this drink.
