You may think making pasta dough from scratch isn’t worth the effort. but with only three ingredients this recipe may convince you otherwise. Two eggs, flour and olive oil this are all you need for easy-to-make pasta at home. Shape your creation however you’d like and have the basis for an unforgettable (and completely homemade) meal.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
Put flour in bowl of food processor fitted with dough blade, and pulse several times to aerate. Combine eggs, olive oil and 3 tablespoons cold water in measuring cup. Beat with fork to combine.
With processor running, pour mixture through feed tube and process until dough forms around blade. Once dough ball forms, process another 30 seconds or so to make smooth. Place dough onto floured surface, and knead a few times. Wrap dough in plastic, and let rest 30 minutes.
