What is Passerina
The majority of Passerina plantings are found within the Marche Wine Region of Italy, located in central-east Italy, bordering the Adriatic Sea. Though Passerina isn’t as popular as Marche’s top white grape, Verdicchio, Passerina produces wines with a distinctive personality. These clean, fresh wines are dry and defined by aromas of flowers and delicate herbs. Passerina is best enjoyed young and paired with lighter fare, such as tapas and simple shellfish preparations. When looking through our Passerina Wine Ratings, it is evident that most of these wines are often great values.
Passerina grapes are found in sparkling, white, and dessert wines.
