Working the front of house in premium restaurants led Kemper to wine. After certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, she worked at The Restaurant at Meadowood in Napa Valley before building Fundamental’s almost entirely natural wine program. Through the restaurant, Kemper launched a wine subscription service, Tippler Club, which focuses on small-production wines.
